Resumo: | The text proposes an analysis of the most searched terms of the Google platform in the last ten years, aiming to map, through the Google Trends tool, the eruption of imaginary content in network communication. An adaptation of Gilbert Durand's Mythology proposal was sought to identify the myth that erupts in the electronic media. From these collected data, it was proposed a reflection on the Thanatos Archetype and its symbolic developments for the media society, questioning about the role of the media and the communicative practices in this cultural scenario that elects death as its guiding symbol. We resorted to the contributions of the Theory of the Imaginary, Theory of Communication and the Media, establishing theoretical crossings that provide us with cognitive tools to think about contemporaneity. |

Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul2021-09-14info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionMitodologia e revisão bibliográficaapplication/pdfhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/intexto/article/view/9892410.19132/1807-8583202152.98924Intexto; No. 52 (2021); 98924Intexto; Núm. 52 (2021); 98924Intexto; No. 52 (2021); 98924Intexto; N. 52 (2021); 98924Intexto; n. 52 (2021); 989241807-8583reponame:Intexto (Porto Alegre)instname:Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)instacron:UFRGSporhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/intexto/article/view/98924/64452Copyright (c) 2021 Malena Segura Contrera, Leonardo Souza Torreshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessContrera, Malena SeguraTorres, Leonardo Souza2023-02-06T12:09:19Zoai:seer.ufrgs.br:article/98924Revistahttp://seer.ufrgs.br/intextoONGhttp://seer.ufrgs.br/intexto/oai||intexto@ufrgs.br1807-85831807-8583opendoar:2023-02-06T12:09:19Intexto (Porto Alegre) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)false |
