Resumo: | Seeking to explore the methodological potential of a hermeneutic approach for communication studies in the context of informal work, the purpose of this article is to analyze the accounts of oneself of direct sales workers in the cosmetics industry as a way to understand the production of meanings about labor relations with sector organizations. Contextualized in the Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic, this study starts from the proposition of Díaz, based on the hermeneutics of Paul Ricoeur, whose objective is to develop a comparative analysis of categories identified in different interlocutors. This is a critical reflection on the meanings of work produced by organizations in their communication, but taking as an object of analysis their workforce, the cosmetics resellers. The results point to the existence of significant contradictions in the discourses of Direct Sales Companies, which promote an ideal of entrepreneurial autonomy that is not effective in practice. These tensions extend to the accounts of the workers, whose discourses are disturbed by specific political, economic and cultural rationalities. |

Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul2022-10-31info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionqualitativa; exploratória.application/pdfhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/intexto/article/view/12139110.19132/1807-8583202253.121391Intexto; No. 53 (2022); 121391Intexto; Núm. 53 (2022); 121391Intexto; No. 53 (2022); 121391Intexto; N. 53 (2022); 121391Intexto; n. 53 (2022); 1213911807-8583reponame:Intexto (Porto Alegre)instname:Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)instacron:UFRGSporhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/intexto/article/view/121391/86449Copyright (c) 2022 Emanuelle Gonçalves Brandão Rodrigueshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessRodrigues, Emanuelle Gonçalves Brandão2023-07-17T18:07:31Zoai:seer.ufrgs.br:article/121391Revistahttp://seer.ufrgs.br/intextoONGhttp://seer.ufrgs.br/intexto/oai||intexto@ufrgs.br1807-85831807-8583opendoar:2023-07-17T18:07:31Intexto (Porto Alegre) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)false |
