This paper seeks to analyze the concepts of Organizational Memorythrough the scientific production published in the Base de dados de Periódicosem Ciência da Informação (Database of journal articles in Information Science),in order to understand its correlation to the Organizational Knowledge.Methodologically, it’s characterized as an exploratory and descriptivedocumentary research with a qualitative-quantitative approach. For the analysisand organization of the data, the procedure used was the content analysis,following the thematic analysis technique, considering: authors who stood out inthe production of research on the subject; distribution of published articles onOrganizational Memory per year; Indexed journals in the database whichpublishes articles articles on the subject; main keywords addressed by theanalyzed works and, finally, the analysis of the Organizational Memoryconcepts so as to understand its relations to the Organizational Knowledge. Theresults allow to infer that there was an increase in interest in studying the organizational structure of companies, Thus demonstrating the need to expandresearches involving the culture and memory of organizations. The research alsomade it possible to verify that the concepts of Organizational Memory presentdialogical relations tho the Organizational Knowledge, allowing to conclude thatboth themes have correlations in the methodological, conceptual and practicalsenses.
