Organizational Memory (OM) and Knowledge Management (KM) are tools that contribute to the decision-making process. The objective of this study was to know an interface between an Organizational Memory and the Knowledge Management based on the theoretical fundamentals and the observations in the archive of the Service of Support to Micro and Small Companies of the State of Paraíba - Sebrae / PB. Methodologically, the research was of bibliography and field, exploratory of descriptive character, with qualiquantitative approach. We adopted the participant observation technique with annotations recorded a field diary, which served as an instrument for collecting data in the archive of the researched institution. The results referring the use of the documents by species and documentary typology, their functions for decision making, as contributions of the archive and the behavior of the subjects allow to conclude that the organizational memory contributes to the knowledge creation process. To keep organizational memory "alive" it is necessary to adoption Knowledge Management policies.
