The school library in the pedagogical proposal of the Law of National Curriculum Guidelines for High School

Resumo: This study aims to analyze how the library and the librarian are presented in the Pedagogical Proposal of the Law of Guidelines and Bases of High School and as to their specific objectives, it intends to: investigate the relationship between education and the school library; present the role and importance of the school librarian; contextualize the inclusion/performance of the library and the professional librarian in the Pedagogical proposal of the Law of Guidelines and Bases of High School. The method used to achieve the objectives of this study was the bibliographical research, whose level in terms of its objectives is exploratory and its approach is qualitative. It was observed that, in the proposal of the pedagogical project, the library and the librarian professional are not mentioned and in most of them, the school library could easily act as a supporter in the student's training process, as support in the provision of teaching material, as a living space, as a space for offering cultural activities, among many other possibilities.

O método utilizado para alcançar os objetivos deste estudo foi o da pesquisa bibliográfica e documental cujo nível, quanto aos seus objetivos, é exploratório e sua abordagem qualitativa.
