O uso da sala de informática como recurso didático-pedagógico na Educação Infantil e séries iniciais do Ensino Fundamental

This study aimed to understand how teachers from kindergarten and first grades of I Teaching Unit – Agostinho Batista do Nascimento utilize the computer lab as a pedagogic aid for the development of their classes. The research, of a qualitative nature sought to understand how and what are the technological resources used by teachers in pedagogic activities from the application of a semi-structured questionnaire. The analysis sought theoretical and methodological parameters in the views of many authors who discuss the use of information and communication technologies in education, as Moran (2005), Valente (2005), Kenski (2005) and the National Curriculum Parameters (1998). The results demonstrate the difficulties found by teachers in the use of technology in education, which is still an issue that needs to be enhanced. Because, there are still teachers seeking qualification to make good use of these equipments, particularly the computer lab, which has various pedagogic methods, and most often, it is used only to do research on the internet, staying with the same methodology used before the use of Information and Communication Technologies.
