Resumo: It is common in recent years, we hear the term bullying. This term has been widely used in schools and undergraduate courses for managers and coordinators, for teachers, for parents of students, by the students, for researchers and students of Education, Sociology and Psychology. It is exactly the spread and importance of the topic and also to have lived and witnessed various bullying scenarios during my school career, I chose this theme to build this job. In it, I aim to portray this phenomenon, showing their types, who are the potential victims and who are the aggressors; what their most frequent causes and its consequences for those who are at the heart of the problem and, above all, what has been the most common placement of teachers against the occurring bullying situations in the educational environment, especially in the classroom. In an attempt to combine theory and teaching practice, a survey was conducted, in which were interviewed ten teachers from public schools, and it was noted that, in most cases, so that the phenomenon will be noticed by teachers is necessary for students seek and provide complaint of violent acts. And yet, based on the answers given by the teachers, it was noticeable that they understand the seriousness of the problem, however, do not know or can not adopt measures to contribute to the reduction of cases of bullying occurring in the classroom.

Esta expressão tem sido bastante utilizada nas escolas e nos cursos de licenciaturas, por gestores e coordenadores, por professores, por pais de alunos, pelos próprios alunos, por pesquisadores e estudantes da Educação, da Sociologia e da Psicologia. É, exatamente, pela disseminação e relevância do tema e, também, por ter vivido e presenciado várias cenas de bullying durante minha carreira escolar, optei por esta temática para a construção deste trabalho. Nele, tenho como objetivo retratar esse fenômeno, mostrando seus tipos, quem são as possíveis vítimas e quem são os agressores; quais as suas causas mais frequentes e as suas consequências para aqueles que se encontram no cerne do problema e, principalmente, qual tem sido o posicionamento mais habitual dos professores frente às situações de bullying ocorrentes no ambiente educacional, e em especial na sala de aula. Na tentativa de aliar teoria e prática docente, foi realizada uma pesquisa, na qual foram entrevistados dez educadores da rede pública, e notou-se que, na maioria dos casos, para que o fenômeno venha a ser percebido pelos professores, é necessário que os estudantes os procurem e prestem queixa dos atos violentos.
