Games, games, toys short, the play activities accompany the development of human civilization from its beginnings with that games play an important role in child development. As the joke a children's language, it is through children that children transform the knowledge they already had previously general concepts with which they play. By the time fac-, it establishes links in their relations develop their autonomy and competence. With this article the aim is to promote a dialogue with authors who talk about the subject, enabling the acquisition of knowledge that will contribute to a proposed methodology that favors indeed the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of the child. This work has contributed significantly to the enrichment of teaching practice, and was of great value to our professional growth, facing new paradigms and, stimulating us to continue our training, since the content it express, opens space for rethinking other alternatives in the field of playfulness.
