Resumo: ABSTRACT This article presents some considerations on design in the early childhood education, based on practical experience, aiming to analyze the learning development of children of the age group between 3 to 4 years on educational activities related to the games. Through this research we understand that "the joke" can promote opportunities for mediation in the development of children in the acquisition of autonomy, internalization of rules, skills, opinions, socialization and construction of knowledge. We consider the importance of work play in early childhood education to be an activity of great importance to the development of the teaching-learning process.

Através dessa pesquisa entendemos que “A Brincadeira” pode promover oportunidades para a mediação no desenvolvimento das crianças na aquisição da autonomia, internalização de regras, habilidades, opiniões, socialização e construção do conhecimento.
