O brincar no contexto hospitalar e sua relevância na aprendizagem infantil

Resumo: In the intention to expand knowledge and studies about the play and the process of learning of the child, we approach in this study the play and its relevance for children learning in the hospital context, investigating how this action, contributes in the learning process in the period of children's hospitalization, knowing And reflecting the importance of the challenges of pedagogical activity in this environment. The methodology used was the bibliographical research, together with the application of questionnaires to professionals in the field, from the perspective of qualitative research in education, containing objective and subjective questions, in order to respond to the proposed objectives. The results obtained according to the research indicate that play contributes significantly to children's learning, collaborating with the procedures of the hospital environment and involving the child in the universe of school learning, stimulating self-esteem and positively influencing the healing process. It was verified that the research group assigns great importance in the act of playing for the development and learning of the child, recognizing that this is a tool of paramount importance for successful teaching work, thus being a means of overcoming the difficulties encountered in this context.

A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa exploratória junto aplicação de questionários a profissionais da área, na perspectiva da investigação qualitativa em educação, contendo perguntas objetivas e subjetivas, a fim de responder aos objetivos propostos. Os resultados obtidos de acordo com a pesquisa apontam que o brincar contribui de forma significativa na aprendizagem infantil, colaborando com os procedimentos próprios do ambiente hospitalar e envolvendo a criança no universo das aprendizagens escolares, estimulando a autoestima e influenciando positivamente no processo de cura.
