Detection of network incidents is not a simple task, mostly in medium and large networks, So that the role of problem detection and resolution is handled by specialized. Ideally, the detection and treatment of incidents should occur in the shortest time possible, as defined by SLA. Among the several factors that collaborate to meet the times defined in a SLA, as the total volume of calls in service, and the existence of well-defined procedures, one of the most notable is the assurance that the actual configuration of the assets is as specified in the documentation maintained by the TIC team. This guarantee is required for all types of assets, and especially for switches, because they do not usually change frequently, are often managed by different TIC people/teams. The proposal of this work is the creation of a system of monitoring configurations, to support ITIL practices and processes, assisting in the discovery of incidents resulting from erroneous or unauthorized configurations in network assets. The solution development is based on a template that makes use of RESTfull webservices, as well as the SNMP protocol.
