Educação em Contexto Hospitalar: a importância das adequações curriculares para o desenvolvimento do trabalho pedagógico na classe hospitalar

Resumo: | This article presents the study about how the work in hospital classes is carried out so that the hospitalized student continues his studies and, at the end of the hospitalization period, can return to the regular class, being fully able to follow the contents. To this end, the present study will address the hospital class in its minutiae: the legal aspects that ensure the existence of pedagogical work in hospital context, its history in Brazil and in the world, the role of the pedagogue in the space of the hospital class, which are the curricular adaptations and the reason why they are so important for the pedagogical work developed in this space, the report of how the curricular adaptations happen in a real context, in the hospital class of the Hospital Professor Luiz Soares (Policlínica) / Casa de Apoio à Criança com Cancer Durval Paiva and, finally, to emphasize the importance of this work to be carried out by the pedagogue and not by another professional. The methodology used was the exploratory research, based on the study of the theoretical reference and official documents that approach the subject, such as Fonseca (2011), Ceccim and Fonseca (1999) and Matos and Mugiatti (2009), regarding attendance (2002), Brazil (2003) and Brazil (2001), regarding the official documents that address the functioning of the hospital class and the attendance to the special educational needs of these students, and also from the participant observation and the application of a questionnaire with the teachers that work in the hospital class, from the perspective of the qualitative research in education, containing objective and subjective questions, in order to respond to the proposed objectives. The results obtained through this research confirm the importance of accomplishing the curricular adaptations for the practice of Hospital Schooling. It was noticed that such adaptations constitute an important tool for overcoming the limitations of hospitalized students, as well as improving their abilities. It was also found that the existence of curricular adaptations are fundamental for the students of the hospital class of the Hospital Professor Luiz Soares (Policlínica) / House of Support to the Child with Cancer Durval Paiva to advance in their learning process. It is concluded, therefore, that the adoption of open curricula and diverse proposals / methodologies are practices that ensure the proper development of the pedagogical work in the hospital. |

It is concluded, therefore, that the adoption of open curricula and diverse proposals / methodologies are practices that ensure the proper development of the pedagogical work in the hospital.Este artigo apresenta uma abordagem acerca de como o trabalho em classes hospitalares seja capaz de conduzir o aluno hospitalizado na continuidade dos seus estudos, e ao término do período de hospitalização, seja possivelmente, capaz de acompanhar os conteúdos curriculares da escola regular. Focalizamos como objetivo geral: analisar como ocorre a adequação curricular para o desenvolvimento do trabalho em classes hospitalares, com foco na reinserção do aluno na escola regular a partir desse processo. Tendo como base constitutiva, os seguintes objetivos específicos (partindo da vivência na classe hospitalar do Hospital Professor Luiz Soares (Policlínica)/Casa de Apoio à Criança com Câncer Durval Paiva2): a) conhecer os alunos que frequentam as classes hospitalares; b) caracterizar o perfil das professoras inseridas nesse contexto - conhecendo suas formações e experiência em classe hospitalar – c) e observar a prática pedagógica desenvolvida na classe hospitalar para, assim, evidenciar, à luz da teoria e das observações, a necessidade desse trabalho educativo ser desenvolvido pelo pedagogo, e não por outro profissional. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa exploratória, a partir do estudo do referencial teórico e documentos oficiais que abordam a temática, tais como Fonseca (2011), Ceccim e Fonseca (1999) e Matos e Mugiatti (2009), no que se refere ao atendimento pedagógico nas classes hospitalares e ao papel do pedagogo nesse espaço, e Brasil (2001; 2002; 2003) no que se refere aos documentos oficiais que abordam o funcionamento da classe hospitalar e o atendimento às necessidades educacionais especiais desses alunos; subsidiados pela observação participante e da aplicação de um questionário com as professoras que atuam na classe hospitalar, na perspectiva da investigação qualitativa em educação, contendo perguntas objetivas e subjetivas, a fim de responder aos objetivos propostos. Os resultados obtidos através dessa pesquisa confirmam a importância da realização das adequações curriculares para a prática da Escolarização Hospitalar. Percebeu-se que a tais adequações se constituem numa importante ferramenta para a superação das limitações dos educandos hospitalizados, bem como de melhoramento das habilidades destes. Constatou-se ainda que a existência das adequações curriculares são fundamentais para que os alunos da classe hospitalar do Hospital Professor Luiz Soares (Policlínica)/Casa de Apoio à Criança com Câncer Durval Paiva possam avançar em seu processo de aprendizagem.
