Resumo: This study aims to present a panoramic vision of the Youth and Adult Education (EJA), including the political expectations of international organizations and organized civil society who understands education as a human right, a tool for active citizenship and informed participation of the people lifelong, as well as analyze the publications of the proceedings of the Working Group Public Policy and Teacher Training in Youth and Adult Education proposed in the VIII National Symposium on Education and the II International Conference on Educational Policy and Teacher Training promoted by Postgraduation Program in education and the Department of Humanities at the University Regional Integrated High Uruguay and Missions (URI). This is a qualitative approach of theoretical research that analyzed the significant contributions of the construction of theory and pedagogical practice in the experiments investigated about the EJA of teacher education in the productions of the working group proceedings under discussion The results indicated that this type of education should establish a reflective teaching practice as a partnership between student and educator in order to be characterized as praxis, whose starting point is the awareness of the subject within a social structure based in the quality of life, social justice and human dignity.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Se trata de una investigación teórica de abordaje cualitativo que analizó los aportes significativos de la construcción de la teoría y de la práctica pedagógica en las experiencias investigadas acerca de la formación de profesores de la EJA en las producciones de los anales del grupo de trabajo en discusión. Los resultados indicaron que esa modalidad de enseñanza deberá establecer una práctica docente reflexiva y asimismo una relación de aparcería entre educando y educador, de modo a caracterizarse como praxis, cuyo punto de partida reside en la concienciación del sujeto dentro de una estructura social pautada en la cualidad de vida, en la justicia social y en la dignidad humana.Este estudo tem como objetivos apresentar uma visão panorâmica acerca da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), incluindo as expectativas políticas dos organismos internacionais e da sociedade civil organizada que entende educação como direito humano ferramenta para a cidadania ativa e participação informada das pessoas ao longo da vida, bem como analisar as publicações dos anais do Grupo de Trabalho Políticas Públicas e Formação de Professores em Educação de Jovens e Adultos proposto no VIII Simpósio Nacional de Educação e II Colóquio Internacional de Políticas Educacionais e Formação de Professores promovidos pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação e pelo Departamento de Ciências Humanas da Universidade Regional Integrada do Alto Uruguai e das Missões (URI). Trata-se de uma pesquisa teórica de abordagem qualitativa que analisou os aportes significativos da construção da teoria e da prática pedagógica nas experiências investigadas acerca da formação de professores da EJA nas produções dos anais do grupo de trabalho em discussão.
