Resumo: | The production of 'Tahiti' acid lime has great expression for the Brazilian citrus industry, due to its socioeconomic importance, however, in the Northeast region, this production is limited by the water deficit, requiring the use of irrigation, which, on the other hand, is limited by the quality of the water from wells in the region, which contain high concentrations of salts, which makes the selection of tolerant rootstocks necessary. In this context, the objective was to select citrus rootstocks for the acid lime tree 'Tahiti' more tolerant to salinity using the mixed model methodology (REML/BLUP). The experiment was developed using a randomized block experimental design, with four replications and treatments arranged in a split plot, where the plot was the thirteen rootstocks grafted on acid lime tree 'Tahiti' and the subplot was the three types of water from irrigation, which had electrical conductivity (ECa) of 0.14 dS m-1, 2.4 dS m-1 and 4.8 dS m-1. Growth, physiological and production variables were evaluated during two seasons. To analyze the data, the SELEGEN software was used. The genotypes that have the best performance in salinities with CEa of 0.14 dS m-1, 2.4 dS m-1 and 4.8 dS m-1 are TSKC X CTARG - 019, TSKFL X CTTR - 013 and citrandarin 'Indio', respectively, and the most heritable variables in the first two years of production were rootstock stem diameter at salinity 1 (0.14 dSm-1) and 2 (2.4 dSm-1) and crown stem diameter at salinity 3 (4.8 dSm-1). The thirteen rootstock genotypes studied have genetic variability and indicate potential for selection. |

The thirteen rootstock genotypes studied have genetic variability and indicate potential for selection.A produção de lima ácida ‘Tahiti’ tem grande expressão para a citricultura brasileira, devido a sua importância socioeconômica, todavia, na região Nordeste, essa produção é limitada pelo déficit hídrico, sendo necessário o uso da irrigação que, por outro lado, é limitada pela qualidade da água de poços da região, que contêm altas concentrações de sais, o que torna necessária a seleção de porta-enxertos tolerantes. Neste contexto, objetivou-se selecionar porta-enxertos de citros para a limeira ácida ‘Tahiti’ mais tolerantes à salinidade utilizando a metodologia de modelos mistos (REML/BLUP). O experimento foi desenvolvido empregando-se o delineamento experimental de blocos casualizados, com quatro repetições e tratamentos arranjados em parcela subdividida, onde a parcela foi os treze porta-enxertos enxertados na limeira ácida ‘Tahiti’ e a subparcela foi os três tipos de água de irrigação, as quais possuíam condutividade elétrica (CEa) de 0,14 dS m-1, 2,4 dS m-1 e 4,8 dS m-1. Foram avaliadas variáveis de crescimento, fisiológicas e de produção durante duas safras. Para analisar os dados, utilizou-se o software SELEGEN. Os genótipos que possuem melhor desempenho nas salinidades com CEa de 0,14 dS m-1, 2,4 dS m-1 e 4,8 dS m-1são TSKC X CTARG – 019, TSKFL X CTTR – 013 e citrandarin ‘Indio’, respectivamente e as variáveis mais herdáveis nos dois primeiros anos de produção foram diâmetro de caule de porta-enxerto, na salinidade 1 (0,14 dSm-1) e 2 (2,4 dSm-1) e diâmetro de caule de copa na salinidade 3 (4,8 dSm-1).
