The Central Archive of the UFSC during COVID-19

Resumo: Quarantined in the fight against the pandemic (COVID-19), the Central Archive of UFSC needed to restructure a large part of its activities. The work aims to report the experience of the archive and its servers during the pandemic. The work presents a brief history of the archive up to the present, including the contextualization of the pandemic situation. Teleworking allows for the continuity of activities and services in the archive, some of which have not been modified, as information technology (IT) tools were used. Others were restructured, which required study, planning and adaptation of the team to the new way of working. Even with the impact of this period, the UFSC Central Archives manages to maintain its commitment to support the university administration and preserve the institutional documentary heritage.

Destarte, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo relatar a experiência do arquivo e seus servidores durante a pandemia. O trabalho apresenta breve histórico do arquivo até a atualidade, incluindo a contextualização da situação pandêmica. O teletrabalho permite a continuidade de atividades e serviços do arquivo, sendo que alguns não foram modificados, pois se fazia uso de ferramentas de tecnologia da informação (TI). Por outro lado, outros foram reestruturados, o que exigiu estudo, planejamento e adaptação da equipe a nova forma de trabalhar.
