Resumo: This article aims to show a brief overview of the Undergraduate Program in Archival Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), given its first graduation, March 2014. The course was offered to the Restructuring Program and Expansion of Federal Universities (REUNI), and at the Center of Educational Sciences of the University said. It will be brief notes about the academic world in the archival field, to call for committed to the practical know-how. Points out some of the Course curriculum information, the need for dialogue between academics and the (internal and external) company, being fruitful ways the performances on stage, in outreach activities, and dissemination / publication, for example, the work of completion (TCC), among others. And congratulates all graduates.

O curso foi proposto ao Programa de Reestruturação e Expansão das Universidades Federais (REUNI), e instalado no Centro de Ciências da Educação da referida Universidade. Faz-se breves apontamentos a respeito do universo acadêmico, do campo arquivístico, com convite à prática comprometida com o saber fazer. Aponta algumas informações curriculares do Curso; a necessidade do diálogo entre os acadêmicos e a sociedade (interna e externa), sendo formas profícuas as atuações nos estágios, nas atividades de extensão, e disseminação/publicação, por exemplo, dos trabalhos de conclusão de curso (TCC), entre outras.
