Mathematical modeling in the pedagogical context: a look at the text produced by three future teacher in mathematics

Resumo: In this article we analyze how three undergraduate students in Mathematics at the recognize specificities of some conceptions of Mathematical Modeling and differentiate it from other trends in Mathematics Education; justify there cognized specificities, and; exemplify planning, according toth eaforementioned specificities, within the scope of Mathematical Modeling. For this, we observe qualitatively the texts produced by the aforementioned students in an interview, seen here as a form of social relationship made visible, palpableor material, which covers the writingandal so the speeches and gestures (BERNSTEIN, 1996). We consider that these texts contained: justifications no targued with reference toreadings, discussions or practices previously experienced; partialre cognition of specificities of Mathematical Modeling, and; examples of dissonant planning of specificities chosen by the interviewees. Therefore, we make suggestions for mathematics teacher courses and bring questions for further investigations.

Therefore, we make suggestions for mathematics teacher courses and bring questions for further investigations.Neste artigo refletimos sobre como licenciandos em matemática reconhecem especificidades de Modelagem Matemática, como justificam as especificidades reconhecidas e exemplificam planejamentos, com as referidas especificidades, no âmbito da Modelagem Matemática. Para isso, analisamos qualitativamente os textos produzidos em uma entrevista, entendendo texto como uma forma de relação social tornada visível, palpável e/ou material, que abrange não só a escrita, mas também falas e gestos (BERNSTEIN, 1996). Ao explorar tais textos identificamos: justificativas não argumentadas com menção a leituras, discussões e/ou práticas vivenciadas anteriormente; reconhecimento parcial de especificidades de Modelagem Matemática, e; exemplos de planejamentos dissonantes de especificidades escolhidas pelos entrevistados.
