Resumo: ChatGPT is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model developed by OpenAI to answer questions and perform various tasks using natural language. However, this recent tool has generated debates in several fields of knowledge, including Education. This work aimed to analyze, in the light of Bakhtinian theory, a statement about education created from dialogue/interaction with ChatGPT. For this, the reflection proposed by the American writer Philip K. Dick was taken as an ontological principle, who, in his fictional work, places “dreaming” as a limit that would mark the breaking of the border between man and machine. Based on a review of the literature produced on AI, seven questions were asked to ChatGPT that related the dream category with different education perspectives and pedagogical trends. This experience showed that the constructed statement presents problems of coherence between the voices visited and the themes highlighted in the text produced by the AI, since this allows us to identify a predilection for liberal and neoliberal educational trends. It is inferred that the explanation for the inaccuracies and bias presented lies in the omission of the voices of the tool's creators in the polyphonic game.

Center for Research in Computing, Literature, and Linguistics (NuPILL)2023-12-20info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigital/article/view/9697310.5007/1807-9288.2023.e96973Texto Digital; Vol. 19 No. 2 (2023); 4-30Texto Digital; Vol. 19 No 2 (2023); 4-30Texto Digital; v. 19 n. 2 (2023); 4-301807-9288reponame:Texto digitalinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)instacron:UFSCporhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigital/article/view/96973/55048Copyright (c) 2023 Emerson Campos Gonçalves, Juliana Barbosa Coitinhohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCampos Gonçalves, EmersonBarbosa Coitinho, Juliana2023-12-20T15:35:49Zoai:periodicos.ufsc.br:article/96973Revistahttp://www.periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigitalPUBhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigital/oaitextodigital@cce.ufsc.br1807-92881807-9288opendoar:2023-12-20T15:35:49Texto digital - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)false
