Pedagogical residence program: residents' experiences and perceptions

Resumo: | The objective of this article is to report the experience and perception of academics obtained with the Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP), in the Physical Education 2 (PE) nucleus, at the Federal University of Viçosa - Campus Florestal. A qualitative approach was used in this experience report, guiding the entire investigation and being carried out based on the observations and reports of experiences of the authors' with the residency. The results obtained with the experiences show that during the PRP, the residents had some problems and difficulties with the residency, these mainly related to the organization of the program and the school reality, however, beneficial teaching experiences were identified. Despite having some obstacles, the PRP proved to be of great importance for the residents who will become teachers, since they need to have knowledge of the space that will be their future professional environment, an experience provided by the residence. |

En este relato de experiencia se utilizó el enfoque cualitativo, orientando toda la investigación y siendo realizada a partir de las observaciones e informes de experiencias de los autores con la residencia. Los resultados obtenidos con las experiencias muestran que durante el PRP, los residentes tuvieron algunos problemas y dificultades con la residencia, estos principalmente relacionados con la organización del programa y la realidad escolar, sin embargo, se identificaron experiencias docentes beneficiosas. A pesar de tener algunos obstáculos, el PRP demostró ser de gran importancia para los residentes que se convertirán en docentes, ya que necesitan tener conocimiento del espacio que será su futuro entorno profesional, experiencia que les brinda la residencia.O objetivo desse trabalho é relatar a vivência e percepção de acadêmicos obtida com o Programa de Residência Pedagógica (PRP), no núcleo de Educação Física 2 (EF), na Universidade Federal de Viçosa – Campus Florestal. Foi utilizada neste relato de experiência a abordagem qualitativa, norteando toda a investigação e sendo realizada a partir das observações e relatórios das vivências dos autores com a residência. Os resultados obtidos com as vivências demonstram que no decorrer do PRP os residentes tiveram alguns problemas e dificuldades, estes principalmente relacionados a organização do programa e a realidade escolar, entretanto, foram identificadas experiências docentes benéficas.
