The Orientation as a pedagogical proposal in the Physical Education classes: an experience report

Resumo: This text refers to an experience report whose objective is to describe the use of the of a body practive, the Orientation, as a pedagogical proposal within Physical Education classes. The corporal practices of adventure are a kind of content developed a few years ago by Physical Education teachers, resulting in the recent inclusion of this content in the school curriculum. To fulfill this work, the methodology chosen uses a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze a sequence of six classes of fifth grade students from an elementary school. It was found that, additionally to the appropriation of such specific knowledge generated by the students’ practice, it was also possible to explore the Orientation and its various potentials in the physical education classes at schools, configuring itself as a pedagogical tool that can and should be used by Physical Education teachers.

Las prácticas corporales de aventura son contenidos desarrollados hace unos años por docentes del área, resultando recientemente en la inclusión de estos contenidos en los planes de estudio escolares. Para llevar a cabo este trabajo, la metodología tuvo un enfoque descriptivo cualitativo, analizando una secuencia de seis clases con alumnos del quinto grado de la escuela primaria. Se encontró que, Además de la apropiación de conocimientos específicos de la práctica por parte de estos estudiantes, también fue posible explorar las diversas potencialidades de la Orientación en la Educación Física escolar, configurándose como una herramienta pedagógica que puede y debe ser utilizada por profesores de Educación Física.Este texto refere-se a um relato de experiência cujo objetivo é descrever a utilização de uma prática corporal de aventura, a Orientação, como proposta pedagógica inserida nas aulas de Educação Física. As práticas corporais de aventura são conteúdos desenvolvidos há alguns anos por professores da área resultando recentemente na inserção desse conteúdo nos currículos escolares. Para a realização deste trabalho a metodologia teve uma abordagem qualitativa de tipo descritivo, analisando uma sequência de seis aulas com educandos de uma turma do quinto ano do Ensino Fundamental.
