Resumo: | The descriptive research aimed to understand in the context of school physical education in high school, their focus on articulating element body culture and world of work provided in the Curriculum Guidelines of the state of Paraná (DCEs). To this end, we applied questionnaires for physical education teachers and high school students of five schools in Maringá-PR. The data indicated that the articulating element body culture and the world of work lacks the necessary focus as required by the DCEs. We conclude that the subject is of significant importance, deserving to be contemplated in the context of school physical education. |

La investigación del tipo descriptiva tuvo como objetivo comprender, en el contexto de la Educación Física escolar en el bachillerato, el enfoque dato al elemento articulador cultura corporal y mundo del trabajo, previsto en las Directrices Curriculares de la provincia de Paraná (DCEs). Para tanto, fueron aplicados cuestionarios para profesores de Educación Física y alumnos del bachillerato de cinco escuelas de Maringá-PR. Los datos indicaron que el elemento articulador cultura corporal y el mundo del trabajo, previsto en las DCEs; concluyéndose que la temática es de significativa importancia, mereciendo ser contemplada en el contexto de la Educación Física escolar. A pesquisa do tipo descritiva teve como objetivo compreender, no contexto da educação física escolar no ensino médio, o enfoque dado ao elemento articulador cultura corporal e mundo do trabalho, previsto nas Diretrizes Curriculares do estado do Paraná (DCEs). Para tanto, foram aplicados questionários para professores de educação física e alunos do ensino médio de cinco escolas de Maringá-PR. Os dados indicaram que o elemento articulador cultura corporal e mundo do trabalho não apresenta o enfoque necessário conforme previsto nas DCEs.
