Racial ethnic relations and school Physical Education: un integrative review of theses and dissertations

The aim of this study was to understand how the theme of ethnic racial relations has been studied in school physical education. For this, an integrative review of theses and dissertations was carried out in the CAPES and BDTD databases. The sample totaled 25 studies that could be organized into three major groups: training; identification / investigation and intervention / proposition that pointed to a growing interest in researching the theme. Finally, we could conclude that, even if there is an interest on the part of the researchers in, there is a need to offer training so that it is possible to expand the discussions in the sense of seeking more concrete strategies for insertion of this theme in school physical education classes.
