Physical Education contents and the implementation of the BNCC

Resumo: The aim of this study was to identify the contents worked in physical education classes of the 8th and 9th years of elementary school, from central schools in a city in the south of Rio Grande do Sul, and their relationship with BNCC. It is characterized by being a descriptive study, developed in five central schools, based on two axes: a) questionnaire with students; b) interview with physical education teachers. From the analysis of the research corpus, it was observed the predominance of classical sports modalities and a positive opinion on the part of the students in relation to the classes and contents taught in them. The participating teachers claimed to know little about the BNCC and feel unprepared for its implementation, highlighted the lack of discussion and construction of proposals of this type, along with the teachers who are working in the school environment.

Se caracteriza por una pesquisa descriptiva a partir de dos ejes: a) cuestionario con estudiantes; b) entrevista con profesores de Educación Física. En base al análisis del corpus de la pesquisa se observó un predominio de las modalidades deportivas clásicas y un parecer positivo por parte de los alumnos referente a las clases y contenidos enseñados en ellas. Los profesores participantes alegaron conocer poco sobre la BNCC y no se sentían preparados para la implantación de lo previsto en el documento. Además, destacaron la ausencia de discusión y construcción de proposiciones del estilo, con la participación de profesores que estén trabajando en ambiente escolar.O objetivo do estudo foi identificar os conteúdos trabalhados nas aulas de Educação Física dos 8º e 9º anos do ensino fundamental, de escolas centrais de uma cidade do sul do Rio Grande do Sul, e sua relação com a BNCC. Caracteriza-se por ser um estudo descritivo, desenvolvido em cinco escolas centrais, a partir de dois eixos: a) questionário com estudantes das turmas de 8° e 9° anos; b) entrevista com professores de Educação Física. A partir da análise do corpus da pesquisa observou-se o predomínio das modalidades esportivas clássicas e um parecer positivo por parte dos alunos em relação às aulas e aos conteúdos ministrados nelas.
