Resumo: The studies of gender sought to show that the cultural references are sexually produced through symbols, games of significance and power relations of kinship, and economic policies. "The relations of gender are a cultural and social construction and as such represent a continuous process and batch production of seats and powers of men and women in every culture and society" (OLIVEIRA, 1999, p.70). So, to paraphrase LOURO (2003), the discussion on gender aims to contribute to the fight against authoritarian relations, questioned the rigidity of the standards of conduct established for men and women and ways to sharpen the transformation of the paradigms established around the relationship men / women in society. These discussions allow rethink our social participation, either at school or in our emotional relationships, establishing new relations between the subjectivity of others and ours, respecting the similarities and differences, but above all, proposing dialogue with these differences.

These discussions allow rethink our social participation, either at school or in our emotional relationships, establishing new relations between the subjectivity of others and ours, respecting the similarities and differences, but above all, proposing dialogue with these differences.
