Teacher training for child´s education and initial series of elementary school: an analysis of documents

Resumo: | This is a theoretical and documentary study that examines the Training´s courses of Teachers in Children's Education and initial series of elementary school in the campi of the University of the State of Bahia - UNEB and in the State University of Southwest Bahia - UESB. Among the objectives of the study, We highlighted: unveiling the contradictions and the theoretical-epistemological assumptions that guide these courses; contribute to the discussions on teacher training courses for basic education; reflect critically on the educational policies that deal on teacher training. We used as sources of examining the proposals for teacher of UNEB, campus of Ipiaú-BA, and UESB, campus of Jequié-BA, and legal documents such as LDBEN and resolutions CNE/C1/2002, CNE/C2/2002 . The discussion was reference in the documents of courses that guide the teachers to the top level in UNEB and UESB. We present an analysis of the subjects of the curriculum, showing its limits and possibilities. We reveal what epistemological matrices that subsidise the proposals and indicate elements able to have us understand why and how such a structure is underway. We conclude that the format of these courses does not take into account elements which seriously undermine the pedagogical work, among them: the release of the exercise teacher with time available for study. |

Entre os objetivos do estudo, destacamos: desvelar as contradições e pressupostos teórico e epistemológicos que norteiam esses cursos; contribuir para as discussões sobre os cursos de formação docente para a educação básica; refletir criticamente sobre as políticas educacionais que tratam sobre a formação de professores. Utilizamos como fontes de análise as propostas de formação de professores da UNEB, campus de Ipiaú-BA, e UESB, campus de Jequié-BA, além de documentos legais como a LDBEN e as resoluções CNE/C1/2002, CNE/C2/2002. A discussão se referencia nos documentos de cursos que instrumentalizam os professores para o nível superior na UNEB e na UESB. Apresentamos uma análise das disciplinas do currículo, mostrando seus limites e possibilidades. Procuramos desvelar quais as matrizes epistemológicas que subsidiam as propostas e apontamos elementos capazes de de nos fazer compreender por que e como esse tipo de curso se estrutura.
