“Look, look”, the beauty of being and learning in company: pedagogical documentation and professional development in childhood school

Resumo: This text presents a report on the practice of teacher training developed in a university unit of Basic Education, between the years 2018 to 2020. For this, it is organized in three parts: the first presents a brief history of the institution and considerations about the pedagogical proposal and the teacher training process; in the second part, it presents the process of pedagogical documentation articulated to training actions with the Early Childhood Education group; in the third, it shows how the recording and documentation practices supported the professional development of the group, emphasizing the importance that these processes are built collectively, opposing preconceived models, which do not fit the different realities of the country, at the risk of emptying the meaning of educational practices.
