Resumo: The aesthetic analysis made by Wittgenstein is not restricted to the merely theoretical field, given that what the author shows is the pragmatic dimension of the art, in which the aesthetic expression finds its place. In this perspective, that avoids the positivist appeal of emphasizing the art casual aspect and the reaction from the subject that contemplates it, Wittgenstein brings together the aesthetic procedure and the philosophical activity, putting them at the same level, at the same time in which he shows how important is to adopt the artist’s procedure to the philosopher. Only with this movement it’s possible to solve all the problems that afflict the philosophy over the tradition. The aesthetic activity is characterized by the descriptive method of the expressions that the art (and the world at large) cause the subject. It is, therefore, the appropriate behavior that brings, as a consequence, the act of overcoming the aesthetic enigmas. The research heads toward to the gestures, to the way people react to the contact with a work of art, because, according to Wittgenstein, the human body is the best image of the human soul, which doesn’t allow errors. To understand the reason, the reason of a determined reaction, is an efficient way to solve such enigmas. In short, the gesture is, according to Wittgenstein, the expression that communicates in a categorical way an impression, which can’t be verbalized correctly. That said, it’s important to note that, extending the aesthetic analysis and applying it at the philosophical activity, it’s possible to conclude that philosophy itself can be understood as a gesture that express the philosopher thought. The thinker from Vienna draws attention to this way of resolving the aesthetic enigmas and states that it is hugely important to the philosophy. This is the point which allows to bring aesthetic and philosophy closer, artists and philosophers, because the real work of art, that is a aesthetic manifestation, contributes to modify the way the world is seen, the same way the philosophical activity does.

Nessa perspectiva, que foge ao apelo positivista de evidenciar o aspecto causal da arte e das reações por parte do sujeito que a contempla, Wittgenstein faz aproximar do procedimento estético a atividade filosófica, equiparando ambas ao mesmo patamar, ao mesmo tempo em que demonstra o quanto é importante para o filósofo adotar o procedimento do artista. Somente com esse movimento torna-se possível solucionar todos os problemas que afligem a filosofia ao longo da tradição. A atividade estética se caracteriza pelo método descritivo das expressões que a arte (e o mundo em geral) provoca no sujeito. Trata-se, portanto, do comportamento adequado que traz como consequência a superação dos enigmas estéticos. A investigação se volta para os gestos, para a maneira como as pessoas reagem ao contato com uma obra de arte, porque, segundo Wittgenstein, o corpo humano é a melhor imagem da alma humana, o qual não permite errar. Compreender o motivo, a razão de determinada reação, é o meio eficaz para solucionar tais enigmas. Em resumo, o gesto é elevado por Wittgenstein à condição de “expressão” que comunica de forma categórica uma impressão, a qual não pode ser verbalizada de modo correto, gozando de um permanente fracasso nessa tentativa. Isso posto, é importante notar que, estendendo a análise estética e aplicando à atividade filosófica, é possível concluir que a própria filosofia pode ser entendida como um gesto que expressa o pensamento do filósofo. O pensador de Viena chama a atenção para esse modo de dissolver os enigmas estéticos e afirma que é enormemente importante para toda a filosofia. Esse é o ponto que permite aproximar estética e filosofia, artistas e filósofos, pois a verdadeira obra de arte, que é uma manifestação estética, contribui para modificar a maneira como se observa e percebe o mundo, da mesma maneira como faz a atividade filosófica.
