Resumo: | Assuming that the quests in WoW works as a narrative framework within the game, we try to verify that this structure has characteristics that might characterize itself as a serial narrative. For such, an analysis of the main features of the television serial narrative, as well as the structure of quests is made to verify the feasibility of such approach. As a serial narrative structure, the structure of quests in MMORPGs opens a wide range of possibilities, both for theoretical analysis of videogames, as for the game designers to improve the amount of details on the fictional worlds they create. |

Para tal, é feita uma análise das principais características da narrativa seriada televisiva, assim como da estrutura de quests, para verificar a viabilidade de tal aproximação.
