COMMENTED TRANSLATION IN A DIALOGICAL PERSPECTIVE: “CONSTRUÇÃO” TRANSLATION OF THE SONG FROM PORTUGUESE TO THE BRAZILIAN SIGN LANGUAGE

Resumo: The objective of this article is to present the enunciative-discursive construction and the axiological position of the translator-actor himself in the work of artistic and poetic, through the analysis of the commented translation. The research is based on the dialogical theory of language — from the Bakhtin and the Circle’s, on the studies of verbal-visuality, and on the studies of translation and interpretation of sign language (ETILS). The research presents a qualitative approach and introduces as corpus the artistic-poetic translation (video) of the song "Construção", by Chico Buarque de Hollanda, performed by a translator-researcher. This video was posted on a YouTube channel in 2020. The self-analysis shows that the translator and interpreter of sign language, when translating through the active-responsive approach, recreates another artistic object through verbo-visual construction. Therefore, the interpreter is valuably positioned and instances another authorship. This article is expected to collaborate with the further investigation, understanding and production of translations from Portuguese to Brazilian Sign Language, focusing on the qualification of TILS.

A pesquisa está fundamentada na teoria dialógica da linguagem — advinda de Bakhtin e do Círculo— nos estudos da verbo-visualidade e nos estudos da tradução e da interpretação de língua de sinais (ETILS). A pesquisa apresenta uma abordagem qualitativa e traz como corpus a atividade tradutória artístico-poética(vídeo) realizada pelo tradutor-pesquisador: tradução da canção “Construção” — Chico Buarque de Hollanda — postados no canal YouTube no ano de 2020. A autoanalise mostra que o tradutor e intérprete de língua sinais (TILS), na atividade tradutória, por meio da compreensão ativa-responsiva, recria outro objeto artístico por meio da construção verbo-visual, posiciona-se valorativamente e instaura uma outra autoria.
