Resumo: This article presents the highlights of the presentation of the artist Gabriel Lema at the Second Congress of Arts Education and Culture held in Santa Maria / RS in 2009. Related in shaping the group´s Projecto Estampa, develops the historical background of the Latin America engraving and the visual arts in general, especially the possibilities of language and multiplicity aesthetic of engraving and your conceptual expansion through integration with the general public.

Relacionado en la conformación del colectivo Proyecto Estampa, desarrolla los antecedentes históricos del gravado en América Latina y las artes visuales en general, principalmente las posibilidades y multiplicidad del lenguaje del grabado como ampliación estética y conceptual a través de la integración con el público en general.O presente texto apresenta aspectos da apresentação do gravador Gabriel Lema no II Congresso de Educação Arte e Cultura realizado em Santa Maria/RS em 2009. Vincula-se a formação do coletivo “Proyecto Estampa” com antecedentes históricos da gravura na América do Sul.
