‘Educational Action in Cultural Spaces’: Initial and continuing teacher education - interactive dialogue

Resumo: This paper develops a reflection and an analysis about the importance of the discipline ‘Educational Action in Cultural Spaces’ for the initial and continuing education of Art teachers. It is also intended to describe the dialogic and qualitative methodology used by Professor Sandra Ramalho e Oliveira (PhD), from bibliography selected for reading in the classroom, interaction of students with educational teams from cultural institutions of Florianópilis (SC), Art, Art Education and Cultural Mediation researchers, to a Visual Arts Exhibition organized by the students themselves. The concepts involving such practice, such as organization, curatorship, museography, displaying and mediation, are effectively put into action through authors such as Coutinho (2013), Martins (2014), Helguera (2011). In this scenario, the articulation between theory and practice as a nuclear aspect for teachers’ education is verified. The results showed that every educator is able to critically participate in the whole exhibition process.

The results showed that every educator is able to critically participate in the whole exhibition process.Este artigo desenvolve uma reflexão e uma análise sobre a importância da disciplina “Ação Educativa em Espaços Culturais” para a formação inicial e continuada de professores de ensino de Arte, como também pretende descrever a metodologia dialógica e qualitativa utilizada pela professora Dra. Sandra Ramalho e Oliveira, desde bibliografia selecionada para leitura em sala como da interação dos alunos com equipes educativas de instituições culturais de Florianópolis, pesquisadores da arte, do ensino de arte e da mediação cultural, até uma Mostra de Artes Visuais organizada pelos próprios estudantes. Nessa, os conceitos que envolvem tal prática como por exemplo, organização, curadoria, museografia, montagem e mediação são efetivamente postos em ação. Nesse cenário, constata-se a articulação entre teoria e prática como aspecto nuclear para a formação de professores.
