Academic textual genres in high school technical-professional education: a practice through abstract

Resumo: In this paper, we present and analyze a proposal for a didactic intervention involving the abstract genre, developed in high school classes integrated to technical professional education, in the discipline Portuguese Language and Literature. As theoretical foundation, we based essentially on contributions from language teaching, to support the development and presentation of the didactic intervention proposal, and Sociodiscursive Interactionism, to describe the language capacities mobilized by the students in the production of abstracts, the empirical products of this process. The analyses point out that it is legitimate and pertinent to study genres of the academic sphere, such as the abstract, in high school; and that the students apprehend and mobilize, in the writing of the genre, its characteristics. Therefore, the high school technical-professional education is presented as a context of teaching and learning of genres of the academic sphere.

Therefore, the high school technical-professional education is presented as a context of teaching and learning of genres of the academic sphere.  Neste trabalho, apresentamos e analisamos uma proposta de intervenção didática envolvendo o gênero resumo científico, desenvolvida em turmas de ensino médio integrado à educação profissional técnica, na disciplina Língua Portuguesa e Literatura. Como fundamentação teórica, baseamo-nos essencialmente em contribuições da didática de línguas, para alicerçar o desenvolvimento e a apresentação da proposta de intervenção didática, e do Interacionismo Sociodiscursivo, para descrever as capacidades de linguagem mobilizadas pelos alunos na produção dos resumos, produtos empíricos desse processo. As análises apontam que é legítimo e pertinente abordar gêneros da esfera acadêmica, como o resumo científico, no ensino médio; e que os alunos apreendem e mobilizam, na escrita do gênero, suas características.
