Resumo: | This study has aimed to review a pratical class with students of a public school from the city of Jaciara-MT. Considering many intrinsic aspects of the science subject on middle school, the subject in which the study is based off, while bringing the related aspects to the subject's content, glimpsed the teaching practice. The results serve as base to rethink the practice used by teachers in classroom. The idealized situations have got good results in order to influence a new teaching practice, where the student has been the main actor of their own learning. The presented results point that the practice helped on the building of critical, scientific and social knowledge, because the study goals have been drawn under the regional reality. This way, the approaching of students with their experienced reality has been the main branch that directed the study. |

Considerando vários aspectos intrínsecos da disciplina de ciências no ensino fundamental, o tema que alicerçou o estudo, além de trazer os aspectos relacionados aos conteúdos da disciplina, vislumbrou a prática educativa. Os resultados obtidos servem de base para repensar a prática utilizada pelos professores em sala de aula. As situações idealizadas tiveram bons resultados a fim de influenciar uma nova prática de ensino, onde o aluno foi ator principal de seu aprendizado. Os resultados apresentados são indicadores que a prática ajudou na formulação de conhecimento crítico, científico e social, pois as metas de estudo foram traçadas dentro da realidade regional.
