Specialized Educational Assistance for the students with intellectual disabilities in Youth and Adult Education: voices of scientific research in the area (2008-2020)

Resumo: This article presents the results of a bibliographical research developed from mapping carried out at the Bank of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - CAPES, in the period from 2008 to 2020 on specialized educational assistance, to students with intellectual disabilities, in the final years of Elementary or Secondary Education for Youth and Adults. The objective was to analyze the different voices of scientific production in the area in this period. From the use of the descriptors: Education of Youth and Adults, Intellectual Disability and Specialized Educational Service and, having as a great area of ​​knowledge Human Sciences and the area of ​​knowledge Special Education and Education of Youth and Adults, 17 productions were selected, 10 of which were dissertations. and seven theses. The data were organized based on Content Analysis. The investigation found that the research that contemplates the constitution and availability of specialized educational assistance for young adults or the elderly with intellectual disabilities, in the final years of Elementary or Secondary Education of Youth and Adult Education, is still incipient. This service is poorly materialized and structured in a generalized way. It was concluded that the mapping of studies in this area can encourage the design of new research on the specificities and structuring of care for this public.

It was concluded that the mapping of studies in this area can encourage the design of new research on the specificities and structuring of care for this public.Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación bibliográfica desarrollada a partir de mapeo realizado en el Banco de Tesis y Disertaciones de la Coordinación para el Perfeccionamiento del Personal de Educación Superior - CAPES, en el período 2008 a 2020 sobre la asistencia educativa especializada para estudiantes con discapacidad intelectual, en los últimos años de Educación Primaria y Secundaria de Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos. El objetivo fue analizar las distintas voces de la producción científica de la zona en este período. Con base en el uso de los descriptores: Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos, Discapacidad Intelectual y Asistencia Educativa Especializada, y con el área de conocimiento de Ciencias Humanas y Educación Especial y Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos, se seleccionaron 17 producciones, 10 de las cuales fueron disertaciones y siete tesis. Los datos se organizaron en función del Análisis de Contenido. La investigación encontró que la investigación que contempla la constitución y disponibilidad de asistencia educativa especializada para adultos jóvenes o ancianos con discapacidad intelectual, en los últimos años de Educación Primaria o Secundaria de Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos, es aún incipiente. Este servicio está mal materializado y estructurado de forma generalizada. Se concluyó que el mapeo de estudios en esta área puede incentivar el diseño de nuevas investigaciones sobre las especificidades y estructuración de la atención a este público.Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa bibliográfica desenvolvida a partir de mapeamento realizado no Banco de Teses e Dissertações da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior–CAPES, no período compreendido entre os anos de 2008 até 2020 sobre atendimento educacional especializado, para alunos com deficiência intelectual, nos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental e Ensino Médio da Educação para Jovens e Adultos. Objetivou-se analisar as diferentes vozes da produção científica na área nesse período. A partir do emprego dos descritores: Educação de Jovens e Adultos, Deficiência Intelectual e Atendimento Educacional Especializado e, tendo como grande área do conhecimento Ciências Humanas e área do conhecimento Educação Especial e Educação de Jovens e Adultos, foram selecionadas 17 produções, sendo 10 dissertações e sete teses. Os dados foram organizados a partir da Análise de Conteúdo. A investigação constatou que a pesquisa que contempla a constituição e disponibilidade do atendimento educacional especializado para jovens adultos ou idosos com deficiência intelectual, nos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental ou Ensino Médio da Educação de Jovens e Adultos, ainda é incipiente. Esse atendimento é pouco materializado e estruturado de forma generalizante.
