Universal Design for Learning and Assistive Technology: offer of resources for a student with Cerebral Palsy in the common class

Resumo: | This study aimed to analyze the implementation of assistive technology (AT) resources for a student with Cerebral Palsy (CP) in the common class and your applicability in a universal character. The research method used followed the principles of the qualitative approach, based on the collaborative research model, whose participants were a common class teacher of early childhood education, an educational agent responsible for accompanying the student with cerebral palsy in the common class, a regularly enrolled student with cerebral palsy and the other students in the class. The data collection took place in the common classroom of a kindergarten class and a protocol was applied for systematic observation by means of filming the implementation/intervention of AT resources. The data obtained showed that the resources could be used to meet the educational needs of the student with CP, as well as contributed to better participation of other students. It was concluded that some AT resources gained the character of universalization of the access during the realization of the activities favoring the participation of all. |

El método de investigación utilizado siguió los principios del enfoque cualitativo, basado en el modelo de investigación colaborativa, cuyos participantes fueron un profesor de la clase común de educación infantil, un agente educativo encargado de acompañar al estudiante con parálisis cerebral en la clase común, un estudiante con parálisis cerebral inscrito regularmente y los demás estudiantes de la clase. La recopilación de datos se llevó a cabo en el aula común de una clase de jardín de infantes y se aplicó un protocolo de observación sistemática mediante la filmación de la implementación/intervención de los recursos de TA. Los datos obtenidos mostraron que los recursos podían utilizarse para satisfacer las necesidades educativas del estudiante con PC, así como contribuyó a una mejor participación de los otros estudiantes. Se llegó a la conclusión de que algunos recursos de AT adquirieron el carácter de universalización del acceso durante las actividades, favoreciendo la participación de todos.O presente estudo teve por objetivo analisar a implementação de recursos de Tecnologia Assistiva (TA) para uma aluna com Paralisia Cerebral (PC) na classe comum e sua aplicabilidade por meio do Desenho Universal (DU). O método de pesquisa utilizado seguiu os princípios da abordagem qualitativa, embasando-se no modelo de pesquisa colaborativa, cujos participantes foram uma professora da classe comum da educação infantil, uma agente educacional responsável em acompanhar a aluna com paralisia cerebral na classe comum, uma aluna com paralisia cerebral regularmente matriculada e os demais alunos da classe. A coleta de dados ocorreu na sala comum de uma turma da Educação Infantil e foi aplicado um Protocolo para observação sistemática por meio de filmagens da implementação/intervenção dos recursos de TA. Os dados obtidos mostraram que os recursos puderam ser utilizados para suprir as necessidades educacionais da aluna com PC, bem como contribuíram para melhor participação dos demais alunos.
