Resumo: The studies in historical education penetrated the Brazilian historiography through the researches developed by the Portuguese historian Isabel Barca and the interlocution between the researcher Estevão Chaves de Rezende Martins and the theoretician of history and philosophy, Jörn Rüsen. Undoubtedly, the field of history teaching has become prominent from the results of the researches of these thinkers, as well as the relevant dialogue with Brazilian historians, linked to universities like UFPR, UnB, UFG, resulting in a diversity of publications available in the publishing market. This article proposes an examination of the influence of the German historian and philosopher, and of his theory, for the history teaching, starting with the dialogue with other historians who integrate this field of investigation in order to elucidate that the history teaching cannot be dissociated from the theory of history.

Indiscutivelmente, o campo do ensino de história tornou-se proeminente a partir dos resultados das pesquisas destes pensadores, bem como do diálogo pertinente com historiadores brasileiros, vinculados a universidades como UFPR, UnB, UFG, resultando numa diversidade de publicações, disponíveis no mercado editorial.
