Alternation Pedagogy in Espírito Santo State and the Agricultural Family School of São Bento do Chapéu

Resumo: This article has as its general objective to discuss how the Agricultural Family School of São Bento do Chapéu conducts the training of the subjects that have passed through the institution throughout its existence and also which were the contributions to rural communities of the municipalities of Domingos Martins, Marechal Floriano and Santa Leopoldina municipalities. This is a qualitative research, and was characterized as a case study. Data collection was carried out through two sources: the first one focused on the historical rescue of the São Bento do Chapéu Agricultural Family School; the second one by the application of a structured questionnaire containing questions that were answered by the institution's former students. The research has as a theoretical foundation Nosella (2012), Freire (1996) and Begnami (2006), among others. The study highlighted that the perspective of the Alternance Pedagogy as an epistemological process and methodological organization promotes the approximation between the school and the families; it also articulates practical and theoretical knowledge of  communities and of those that make up the school curriculum. These characteristics qualify and make learning more meaningful and students’ training more contextualized and effective.

Trata-se de uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, e caracterizou-se como um estudo de caso. A coleta de dados se deu por meio de duas frentes de trabalho: a primeira centrou-se no resgate histórico da Escola Família Agrícola São Bento do Chapéu; a segunda, pela aplicação de um questionário estruturado contendo questões que foram respondidas por ex-alunos da instituição. A pesquisa tem como fundamentação teórica Nosella (2012), Freire (1996) e Begnami (2006), entre outros. O estudo evidenciou que a perspectiva da Pedagogia da Alternância como processo epistemológico e organização metodológica promove a aproximação entre a escola e a família; articula conhecimentos práticos e teóricos das comunidades e os que compõem o currículo escolar. Tais características qualificam e tornam a aprendizagem mais significativa e a formação dos educandos mais contextualizada e eficaz. Palavras-chave: Pedagogia da Alternância; Educação do Campo; Escola Família Agrícola.    La Pedagogía de la Alternancia en el estado del Espíritu Santo y la EFA São Bento do Chapéu Resumen Este trabajo tiene como objetivo general desvelar cómo la Escuela Familia Agrícola de São Bento do Chapéu realiza la formación de sujetos que han pasado por la institución a lo largo de su existencia y en qué contribuye a las comunidades campesinas de los municipios de Domingos Martins, Marechal Floriano y Santa Leopoldina. Esta es una investigación cualitativa, y se caracterizó como un estudio de caso. Se realizó la recolección de datos a través de dos frentes de trabajo: el primero se centró en el rescate histórico de la Escuela Familia Agrícola São Bento do Chapéu; por otra parte, el segundo se enfocó en la aplicación de un cuestionario estructurado conteniendo preguntas que fueron respondidas por ex alumnos de la institución. La investigación está basada en Nosella (2012), Freire (1996) y Begnami (2006), entre otros. El estudio ha demostrado que la perspectiva de la Pedagogía de la Alternancia como proceso epistemológico y organización metodológica promueve la aproximación entre Escuela y Familia; permite la articulación de los saberes prácticos y teóricos, además de los que componen el programa de los colegios. Dichas características califican y hacen que el aprendizaje sea más significativo y que la formación de los estudiantes sea más contextualizada y eficaz.
