Resumo: | Introduction: Psychosocial factors are characteristics inherent to the conditions and organization of work that can affect the health of the individual positively or negatively in a physiological and / or psychological way. They result from the interaction between the individual, and his working conditions. Objective: The study aimed to identify the psychosocial risks in the work of professionals who work in confined space and height. Method: Study of a quantitative approach. 32 employees of a company from the western region of Paraná participated in the study. For data collection, two instruments were used: a sociodemographic questionnaire and the Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ II). Results: Based on the data analysis, only a psychosocial risk was identified, which is associated with the workers' cognitive requirements, as they need attention and concentration in the environment in which they perform their duties. Conclusion: It can be seen that the work is capable of exposing employees to psychosocial risk factors and compromising their mental health. The psychosocial risks identified are not only related to the peculiar characteristics related to carrying out activities in confined spaces and height, but to other characteristics of the organization. The identification of such aspects can support safety actions and promote mental health in the work environment, in addition to contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge in this area. |
