Educative practices for environmental teaching in the community of Sanharó, Sento-Sé, State of Bahia, Brazil: local engagement and participation in multi-series learning classes

Resumo: The objective of this work was to report the environmental educational practices developed by educators and students from the Advanced Class D. Pedro II, in the community of Sanharó, State of Bahia, Brazil and their results for the development of education in the municipal school system. This report was developed based on a descriptive study, with students from multigrade classes in the final years of Elementary School as participants. A qualitative approach was used in order to know, from the perspective of environmental education, the actions of individuals or groups in their own environment and social context. The qualitative approach was used in order to obtain a greater understanding of the community and the existence of these educational practices related to environmental education as an instrument for the emancipation of the subjects. As a result, it was identified that students and the community realized the power of actions carried out collectively and built new knowledge. However, the promotion of practices related to environmental education must be exercised by everyone, as the theme involves the entire society and goes beyond the school space. Therefore, it becomes necessary to spread these good practices everywhere, so that the goals are collectively achieved.

Pedro II, na comunidade de Sanharó, Sento-Sé, Bahia, e seus resultados para o desenvolvimento da educação na rede municipal de ensino. Este relato foi desenvolvido a partir de um estudo de caráter descritivo, tendo como participantes discentes de classes multisseriadas dos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental. Utilizou-se uma abordagem qualitativa a fim de conhecer, sob a ótica da educação ambiental, as ações dos indivíduos ou grupos em seu próprio ambiente e contexto social. A abordagem qualitativa foi utilizada com o intuito de obter uma maior compreensão da comunidade e a existência dessas práticas educativas relacionadas à educação ambiental como um instrumento de emancipação dos sujeitos. Como resultado, identificou-se que os discentes e a comunidade perceberam o poder das ações realizadas de forma coletiva e construíram novos conhecimentos. Contudo, a promoção de práticas relacionadas à educação ambiental deve ser exercida por todos, pois a temática envolve toda a sociedade e transcende o espaço escolar.
