This paper aims to report and evaluate the implementation of the Corredor Cultural (FORPROEX 2016/2017). The project en compassed a series of artistic-cultural actions produced in the Universities of the Brazilian Southeastern Region. From the mapping and diagnosis of local demands, its calendar of activities was organized in annual format and involved 16different institutions. In order to share the experiences acquired and evaluate the project implications for the development of the artistic-cultural field in public national higher education, this paper will present the methodology, the content of actions and the result of a series of five structured interviews made with the project managers. The information was organized in six categories of analysis and dealt with different themes, putting the project as an important landmark for cultural policies geared towards higher education in Brazil.
