A study of academic production on the Agricultural Family School in Brazil

Resumo: The present study maps and discusses, in a panoramic way, the knowledge produced in the Brazilian context that addresses the theme “Agricultural Family School”, based on a quantitative-descriptive approach. Initially the history of the aforementioned terminology is described, then the actions taken from data collection to its treatment are presented, and finally, the quantitative part obtained through the virtual platform of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel. Taking as a parameter for the descriptor the search for the term “Agricultural Family School”, the theses and dissertations summaries found are analyzed and allocated in the following categories: (i) Social Development; (ii) Curriculum; (iii) History; (iv) Pedagogical Practice; (v) Public Policies; and (vi) Co-participation. As a result, there is a quantitative pattern of Master and Doctorate investigations by region, in which the Southeast stands out with a greater number and, with less representativeness, the South region. It was noticed the relevance of a good summary writing, once there is a lack of essential elements as a theoretical framework and research method. It is noteworthy that, of this amount, only one is from the area of ​​Mathematical Education, showing how much it is necessary for the academic community in this field to research this theme.

Inicialmente, descreve-se a história da escola família agrícola, em seguida, apresentam-se as ações realizadas desde a coleta de dados até seu tratamento, e por fim, a parte quantitativa obtida por meio da plataforma virtual da Coordenação para o Melhoramento do Pessoal de Educação Superior. Tendo como parâmetro para o descritor a busca pelo termo “Escola Família Agrícola”, analisam-se os resumos de teses e dissertações encontrados, alocadas nas seguintes categorias: (i) Desenvolvimento Social; (ii) Currículo; (iii) História; (iv) Prática Pedagógica; (v) Políticas Públicas; e (vi) Coparticipação. Como resultado, tem-se a existência de um padrão quantitativo de investigações de Mestrado e Doutorado por região, em que se destaca a Sudeste com maior número e, com menor representatividade, a região Sul. Percebe-se o quão importante é uma boa escrita de resumo, uma vez que foi observada a falta de elementos essenciais como referencial teórico e método da pesquisa.
