Resumo: The objective of this research, understand the social representations of teachers who worked in a federal public institution, located in the northern interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro, on the proposal of Education Youth and Adult Integrated Vocational Education (PROEJA). At first, a historical reflection on the Education of Youth and Adults (EJA) was made in Brazil, as well as policies for this modality. Then he made a reference to PROEJA and lastly, the data obtained through the application of a tool for generating data, were analyzed in order to achieve the research objective.

Then he made a reference to PROEJA and lastly, the data obtained through the application of a tool for generating data, were analyzed in order to achieve the research objective.  L'objectif de cette recherche, comprendre les représentations sociales des enseignants qui ont travaillé dans un établissement public fédéral, situé à l'intérieur du nord de l'État de Rio de Janeiro, sur la proposition de l'éducation de la jeunesse et des adultes intégré formation professionnelle (PROEJA). Dans un premier temps, une réflexion historique sur l'éducation des adolescents et adultes (EJA) a été faite au Brésil, ainsi que des politiques pour cette modalité. Puis il a fait référence à PROEJA et enfin, les données obtenues par l'application d'un outil pour générer des données, ont été analysés dans le but d'atteindre l'objectif de la recherche.  Objetivou-se, com esta pesquisa, compreender as representações sociais dos docentes que atuavam em uma instituição federal pública, localizada no interior norte do estado do Rio de Janeiro, sobre a proposta de Educação para Jovens e Adultos integrada à  Educação Profissional (PROEJA). Em um primeiro momento, foi feita uma reflexão histórica sobre a Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) no Brasil, bem como acerca das políticas para essa modalidade.
