Dispute theories: the duel between liberalism and decolonial pedagogy in the Amazon

Resumo: This essay reflects on the contradictions existing between liberal thought and its embodiment in the conflicting Brazilian reality, especially in the Amazon. At the same time, seeks to think of an epistemic alternative betting on decolonial thinking as an important way to dissolve the myth of the Salvationist narrative that is at the heart of liberal, racist and patriarchal pedagogies. From the crisis of paradigms, we conducted a brief dialogue with critical theories, postmodernity, transmodernity and interculturality in order to understand how the decolonial thought was consolidated, when constituting an energy, together with social movements.

En même temps, cherche à penser à une alternative épistémique, parier sur la pensée décoloniale comme un moyen important de dissoudre le mythe du récit salutaire qui est au cœur des pédagogies libérales, raciste et patriarcal. De la crise du paradigme, nous avons mené un bref dialogue avec les théories critiques, postmodernité, transmodernité et interculturalité afin de comprendre comment la pensée décoloniale s'est consolidée, lorsqu'il constitue une énergie avec les mouvements sociaux, contre les oppressions subies par les peuples colonisés par le capitalisme, le racisme et le patriarcat.Este ensaio reflete sobre as contradições existentes entre o pensamento liberal e a sua corporificação na conflituosa realidade brasileira, sobretudo amazônida. Ao mesmo tempo, procura pensar em uma alternativa epistêmica apostando no pensamento decolonial como um importante caminho para dissolver o mito da narrativa salvacionista que está no cerne das pedagogias liberais, racistas e patriarcais, com base na crise de paradigmas.
