This is a descriptive qualitative research that considers as subject the importance of the Methodology for the education of Geography in Basic and Average Ensino. With the transformations that occur in the world contemporary, she is necessary to think on the quality of education about the schools. For the understanding of the ways that take the quality of this education, initially the bibliographical revision of the theoretical conceptions was carried through that approach the methodologies and the use of the didactic resources for the education of Geography. At as the moment, the reports of Period of training Supervised carried through between 2016 and 2017 had been analyzed, in an urban State School of Uberlândia-MG, what it served for one better knowledge of the practical one of the professors of Geography. To all, four professors had been observed who acted in classrooms of the matutino period. One concluded that the professor is the mediator of the process of education and learning, exactly that they appear difficulties, it always needs to search methodologies that serve to intervine in practical the pedagogical one, in order to involve the pupil in the education of Geography.
