Resumo: This monograph focuses on criticizing the Portuguese Language curriculum, referring to a documentary analysis aligned with the Marxist method, that is, Dialectical Historical Materialism (Marx, 2009), and aims to survey and subsequently criticize the proposed training profile of students. by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC, 2018), since its origin and institutionalization in the country. In this sense, it focuses especially on the Elementary School stage - Final Years of Portuguese Language. Thus, this research is based on the perspective of Historical-Critical Pedagogy (Saviani, 2013a), the category of generic objectification for oneself, (Duarte, 2013), and reflection on language teaching (Britto, 2012). In this sense, the National Common Curricular Base, established in 2017 by the federal government, is anchored in the socio-economic perspective of neoliberalism, new pedagogy - Pedagogy of Skills - and the motto “learning to learn”. Thus, the BNCC does not train students for their emancipation, liberation, and integral development as a human race, that is, generic objectification for themselves, but rather aims for teaching devoid of content and the formation of subjects who conform and adapt to social reality. and economic, that is, training aimed at unemployment.

Nosso objetivo foi fazer o levantamento e a posterior crítica ao perfil formativo dos estudantes proposto pela Base Nacional Comum Curricular (Brasil, 2018), desde a sua origem e sua institucionalização no país. Nesse sentido, centraliza-se especialmente à etapa do Ensino Fundamental - Anos Finais de Língua Portuguesa. Dessa forma, esta pesquisa fundamenta-se na perspectiva da Pedagogia Histórico-Crítica (Saviani, 2013a), da categoria de objetivações genéricas para si, (Duarte, 2013) e da reflexão sobre ensino de Língua (Britto, 2012). Nesse viés, a Base Nacional Comum Curricular, instituída em 2017 pelo governo federal, está ancorada na perspectiva sócio-econômica do neoliberalismo, da pedagogia nova - Pedagogia das Competências - e do lema “aprender a aprender”.
