Resumo: Este artigo busca analisar os efeitos da alteração legislativa provocada pela Lei 13.964/2019, a qual modificou o artigo 492, I, “e”, do CPP e possibilitou a execução imediata da pena após condenação pelo Tribunal do Júri antes da possibilidade de revisão da condenação em sede de apelação, tema sensível que confere divergências no âmbito jurídico. Será utilizado como método de pesquisa dedutivo, na tentativa de se fazer das regras gerais, a solução para casos específicos com base na Constituição e na legislação processual penal.
