E quando a adolescente alega seu consentimento? Um estudo de caso sobre vivência/violência sexual

Under Brazilian criminal law the sexual act performed with children under 14 is considered a crime of rape of a vulnerable person. However, in our work at an outpatient clinic dedicated to victims of sexual assault, we sometimes come across cases in which preteen girls, considered initially as victims of sexual violence do not recognize themselves as such, considering that they have experienced a consensual sexual experience. To carry out this work we opted for the case study of an 11-year-old preteen attended at a specialized outpatient clinic in the interior of Minas Gerais. After the consultations, psychoanalytical narratives were written which were analyzed using the “Theory of Fields”. At the end of this work, it was possible to reflect on the fact that the preteen presented herself, in a paradoxical way, as a “big girl” and a “little woman”, with a body that reflected suffering and provoked fear in the surroundings as it was a sexed body. It was also possible to discuss the discomfort experienced by the caregivers responsible for the case, which can encourage interventions to be carried out in cases as peculiar as this one.
