Resumo: | In the present work three discharge regionalization were analyzed to estimate minimum discharge with a 7-day duration and a 10-year return period (Q7,10) for different sections of the Paracatu river basin. The regionalization methods used were: traditional; based on the proportionality of specific flows; and based on the conservation of mass. The Integrated System to the Water Resources Management (SINGERH) was carred out to estimated the Q7,10 to different sections. Was evidenced, in the obtained results, in some sections, expressive differences in the Q7,10 values for the three regionalization methods studied. The method based on the conservation of mass was the only that guaranteed the continuity of the flows in the whole area in study. The analysis allowed to verify a larger care in the choice of the regionalization method, because it can hamper the process of decision in the water resource management. |

The analysis allowed to verify a larger care in the choice of the regionalization method, because it can hamper the process of decision in the water resource management.No presente trabalho, foram comparadas três metodologias de regionalização de vazões para estimativa da vazão mínima com sete dias de duração e período de retorno de dez anos (Q7,10), para diferentes seções da bacia do rio Paracatu. Os métodos de regionalização utilizados foram: o Tradicional; o baseado na proporcionalidade de vazões específicas e o baseado na conservação de massas. Na estimativa da Q7,10 para cada seção analisada foi utilizado o Sistema Integrado para a Gestão de Recursos Hídricos (SINGERH). Nos resultados obtidos, foram evidenciadas, para algumas seções, diferenças expressivas na estimativa dos valores de Q7,10 pelos três métodos de regionalização estudados, sendo o método baseado na conservação de massas o único que garantiu a continuidade das vazões em toda a área em estudo.
