Resumo: This study explores the relation between rural and technical education (EP), taking into account the constant changes in the work field, as well as the dilemmas and perspectives of the human formation in the rural area. This demand challenges the expansion of the federal education system and the possibilities of the education based on the alternation education and learning model, at the Proeja´s courses, in the federal institutes’ campuses. Thus, this study builds on studies on popular education, work and education, adult education (EJA), and the praxis as the foundational category that mobilizes reflections and actions towards other ways of offering EJA integrated with EP in the rural areas.

Esa demanda la expansión de la red federal y las posibilidades de la formación en alternancia vinculada al Proeja, en campos de institutos federales. Toma como base estudios en el ámbito de la educación popular, del trabajo y educación, de la educación de jóvenes y adultos (EJA), y la praxis como categoría central que moviliza reflexiones y acciones en dirección de otra lógica en la oferta de la EJA integrada a la EP en el campo.O texto explora a temática da formação na interface educação do campo/ educação profissional (EP), atentando para as mutações no mundo do trabalho, dilemas e perspectivas da formação humana no campo. Essa demanda interpela a expansão da rede federal e as possibilidades da formação em alternância vinculada ao Proeja, nos campi de Institutos Federais.
