Epistemological totalitarianism vs sensitive knowledge at school from the film Druk

Resumo: This essay aims to develop an aesthetical-critical discussion about the epistemological totalitarianism of instrumental reason present in a fictional school represented in the film Druk - Another Round (Vinterberg, 2020). Emphasizing the lack of sensitive knowledge, we dedicated ourselves to scrutinize the cinematographic work soundly and imagetically, using the methodology of film analysis and having as theoretical framework authors of Critical Theory. We conclude that despite the inaugural circumstances in the Danish school leading us to the construction of apparently innovative knowledge, at its core they preserved opacity and submission to traditional and totalitarian epistemologies.

Enfatizando la falta de conocimiento sensible en el ámbito educativo en cuestión, nos dedicamos a escudriñar la obra cinematográfica, sus sonidos e imágenes, con base en la metodología del análisis cinematográfico, teniendo como marco teórico los autores de la Teoría Crítica. Concluimos que a pesar de las circunstancias inaugurales en la escuela danesa que nos llevaron a la construcción de saberes aparentemente innovadores, en su núcleo conservaron la opacidad y el sometimiento a epistemologías tradicionales y totalitarias.Este ensaio busca desenvolver uma discussão estético-crítica acerca do totalitarismo epistemológico da razão instrumental presente em uma escola ficcional representada no filme Druk - Mais uma rodada (Vinterberg, 2020). Enfatizando a falta de saberes sensíveis no âmbito educativo em questão, dedicamo-nos a perscrutar sonora e imageticamente a obra cinematográfica, a partir da metodologia da análise fílmica, tendo como arcabouço teórico autores da Teoria Crítica.
